14" H, Edition of 36
As a child in Rome, I was deeply impressed by the ability of one person long dead to convey emotion to those of us living or yet to be born through the medium of sculpture.
Wind Warrior was one of my early attempts to carry on that tradition in three-dimensional bronze by blending concepts of fragmentation, facial expression, posture, texture and overall composition. The success, on different levels, of that piece has affected every work I have done since and will do in the future.
